Halloween fun
They had fun dressing up. They also enjoyed comparing all the booty (candy) they were getting. It was colder this year than last, and they were done before we even finished the loop by our apartment. Derek convinced Jen to go a little further, while I took the younger ones inside for hot chocolate and caramel apples. Derek says the kids are going to "train" for next year so they will hit more houses. He's just like a big kid!
Oh it's probably obvious I didn't finish all the costumes. I had fabric issues. So Lil is Dorothy Gale, Aid is a dragon, and Jen is a princess. I found Aid and Jen's costumes at a local thrift store. Jen's was a pink party dress I turned into a princess dress. Next year they can be Tinman and Glenda and maybe Lil will be the wicked witch since she was already Dorothy this year.
I just wish I didn't have a cavity, otherwise I'd help them eat the candy....it looks sooooooooo yummy.
