So Halloween is coming up. Time to start making those costumes. Jen want to be a princess, but also thinks it would be cool if she was Glenda the Good Witch and Lil was Dorothy. I asked Aid if he wanted to be scarecrow or tinman, "No, I want to be a princess!" Okay try another tactic, we look at other patterns. Find a really cute one with knights, "Hey Aid want to be a knight with a sword?" "No, want to be a princess." As he points to the girl in the princess costume. "Okay Aid you want to be a princess, you can be one." "What?!" remarks Derek in the background. Jen complains "He can't be one, I want to be one." Then she remembers that she wants to be Glenda, and talks about how cool her and Lil will look.

Should I let him ? Remember pictures, and girlfriends in the future. Or will he say "Mom you were the coolest." LOL. So let's take a poll, what do y'all think? Should he be a knight, scarecrow, tinman, or a princess?

That day is just a memory,
of something that went wrong.

I feel like your return
is taking too long.
But then I know there's no return
from where you've gone.
I guess it's time for me...
to move on.

The thought of you comes breaking through,
into my life.
I stand there all alone,
with tears in my eyes
The world moves on with out me,
and I don't really care.

Sometimes you're just a memory.
Sometimes I feel you near.

Ode to the boys

Little Jon and Aaron
Walkin' through the forest
Arguin'’ back and forth
At what the other'ne has to say
Building forts and shootin'’ rabbits
Havin' such a good time
Oo-de-lally, Oo-de-lally
Golly, what a day
Never ever thinkin' there was danger in the water
They were fishin'’ and just raftin' down
Never dreamin' that the neighbors were a watchin'’
callin'’ and complaining, keep those boys from comin'’ 'round
Little Jon and Aaron
Runnin' through the forest
Jumpin' fences, dodgin' trees
An' tryin' to get away
Running home to safety
and swearing that they didn'’t do it
Oo-de-lally, Oo-de-lally
Golly, what a day
Oo-de-lally, Oo-de-lally
Golly, what a day
