My breakfast brunch is toast and jam. Lil is having toast and peanut butter. This week has totally churfed. Literally. (Churfed is an inside word/joke from the folklife weekend at Aunt C's.) Jen was sick Sat. Lil threw up Sun. morn. Derek went to work Mon., but called to say he felt feverish and cold sweats. He stayed home sick Tues., I got sick Wed. Called into work. Felt better Thur. Derek still stayed home. Went to work Thur. night. A very long, tiring, achy, feverish 4 hours. Came home, went to bed, feel much better today. Derek went to work, I think he feels better too.
I think I'm going to be more adamant about the hand washing around here. I wash mine more often than others because I'm always making the meals. I think there should be more outside of obvious bathroom use.
Kids and I are hanging out with sis and hers this weekend. Taking the girls school clothes shopping. I am really looking forward to school starting. I can clean my house during the day, and I know it will stay clean for longer than an hour. Plus it'll be so much quieter.....yeah that'll be nice.
